Siu Sai Wan Complex is a municipal services building offering recreational and leisure facilities to the community.
The complex comprises a sports centre, a swimming pool, a library and a community hall to offer quality leisure and cultural facilities to Eastern District residents. With an objective to encourage public interaction and minimize energy consumption, the structure adopts an open and polymorphic architectural form, with bridges and escalators linking the two main blocks.
Sustainable design is carried through and integrated in all parts of the Complex. The project has also won the Merit Award of Hong Kong in the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards 2010.
